Dick Kelly came to ASU as an Associate Professor of Engineering in 1965. He served as Department Chairman, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies & Off-Campus Programs, and for a short while as Interim Dean. He worked as a consultant at Motorola GED and Sperry. After retiring in 2002, he taught one or two courses a year. A highlight for him was serving as a Fulbright Lecturer at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, for a year.
