Dick Jacob is Professor Emeritus of Physics at ASU. He joined ASU in 1963 and retired in 2001. He served as Associate Chair and Chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He was Director of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Honors program initiating at that time the university-wide cooperative honors program and the first honors curriculum. He is Founding Dean of the Emeritus College.  His interview was conducted June 13, 2012 by  Elmer Gooding.
