David Samuel Williams, 89, passed away November 24, 2015. David was a pilot in the U. S. Army Air Corp serving during the Korean War. He rose to the rank of Lt. Colonel. In 1950 he graduated from University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music and a minor in Mathematics. He pursued graduate studies at Stanford Law School and New York University and was also a Past Adjunct Professor at Stanford Law School, ASU and the University of New Mexico. He received his Juris Doctor in 1968 from La Salle University Law School. David had a career in the insurance industry serving in executive positions in the U.S., Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, a sister and a son. He is survived by three children, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell, OK on December 11, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. (Source: ASU Foundation)
