David White, Jr.

Dr. David Edwin White Jr. attended Arizona State University, where he earned his B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics. After graduating from Arizona State, he attended Santa Clara University, where he earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering. His doctoral dissertation was on Decentralized Control Systems.

Dr. White was known for his intellect. Many even called him a genius. He was a professor of Electrical Engineering and Mathematics at Arizona State University and the College of the Ozarks.

In addition to his work in academia, he also served as a consultant in the software field and was involved in establishing many successful businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors. His work in this area included contributions to Predator drone navigation and nuclear power plant control systems.

In addition, he published multiple software programs related to health care and finance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave White Sr. and Mary White, and his brother.

He is survived by his two brothers; his three children; and by his nine grandchildren. A Memorial gathering was held on Jan. 6, 2024.
