Daniel Owen Robinson,94, passed away January 31, 2012. Daniel was born in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua Mexico. Upon graduating high school from Juarez Stake Academy in 1936, he pursued and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University in 1941; a Master's Degree from the University of Arizona in 1947; and, a PhD from Ohio State University in 1949. From 1941-45, Daniel served as a member of the United States Army Air Corps where he advanced to the rank of Captain. Professionally, Daniel worked as a professor of Agriculture at ASU from 1950 to 1983. After retirement from ASU, he moved to Thatcher, AZ where he lived until 2010, after which moving to Houston, TX where he spent the remainder of his life. Daniel is preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Adams Robinson, a son and second wife, Janet Morris Robinson. He is survived by five children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
