Caroline Harrison received her BS degree from Northwestern University and her MEd and PhD from Arizona State University specializing in Educational Technology and Instructional/curricular design. She held a post-doctoral research position as Program Manager for the CareerWISE: Enhanced Resilience Training for STEM Women in an Interactive, Multimodal Web-Based Environment NSF funded grant project.

She worked as the Curriculum and Academic Programs director with the School of Sustainability. In this capacity she helped refine and launch numerous undergraduate and graduate programs both online and on multiple campuses. She became the first Director of Curriculum and Digital Initiatives for the newly formed College of Global Futures when it was launched. Prior to coming to ASU, she worked as a consultant designing and implementing web-based applications across diverse industries.

Caroline has been enjoying all of the opportunities that retirement has allowed her to pursue. Volunteering at Liberty Wildlife and Lost our Home Pet Rescue lets her interact with animals and those that cherish them. Working with ConnectTempe developing age-friendly curriculum and teaching Digital Skills has allowed her to keep her ID and teaching skills sharp.

She has also had the opportunity to learn new crafts such as knitting and crocheting and new skills such as Tai Chi and Spanish. She is looking forward to working with the ASU Retirees association as Mailing Operations Manager and any other opportunities that may become available.
