Carol Moore

Carol Moore is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Secondary Education. She also received a M.A. degree in history from California State University, Fresno and a Master of Library Science degree from The University of Arizona. Carol taught 7th Grade geography in Fresno and later worked at Wells Fargo Bank History Room in San Francisco. After moving to Arizona in 1965, she taught economics, American history and government at South Mountain High School in Phoenix.

Carol spent 18 exciting years in the Department of Archives and Special Collections at Hayden Library where she processed manuscript and archival collections, prepared exhibits, and provided reference service. Since retiring in 2003, Carol volunteers at the ASURA office and is active with the Salt River Alumnae Panhellenic Association. She has 2 married sons and 5 grandchildren. Carol and husband Rod are regulars at the Student Recreation Complex, love travel, skiing, and are avid ASU baseball, softball and football fans.
