Candice Joy Murphy (nee Ames) graduated from Arizona State University.

Candi's career as an event planner began early. As a teen, she loved bringing people together at parties, local hangouts, and her family's cabin. In college, Candi organized group travel to Rocky Point, Mexico, where she spent many vacations. In adulthood, Candi worked as an event planner for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London, SSE Arena in Belfast, and Arizona State University in Tempe.

Candi is survived by husband Brian Murphy; three children, two sisters, three sisters-in-law and many beloved nieces and nephews.
