Brice W. Corder, 78, passed away December 3, 2014. Brice was a graduate of Lynchburg College. He served in the Marine Corp in the 1950’s. In 1965 he earned a Doctorate in Health Science at Temple University and taught at Penn State University. He moved to Arizona with his first wife, Maryanne Dear, where he became a Professor of Health Science at ASU. Prior to retirement, he became an Assistant Dean in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and was Founder and Director of the pre-med advisory program which increased the acceptance rate for many ASU students at medical schools across the country. Brice was an avid golfer. In 1996 he was ranked as the top senior golfer for the State of Arizona, qualifying for the Senior Men's Tournament. Brice is survived by his wife, Sandra, two children, a brother, five grandchildren, three stepchildren, five step grandchildren and nieces and nephews. (Source: Arizona Republic)
