Barry Leshowitz is a Professor Emeritus. He engaged in teaching and research in the Department of Psychology at the Tempe campus for 39 years. His courses included problem solving, decision-making, and critical thinking. Recognized for his innovative instructional methods, he was one of the early advocates of active learning in both on-line and traditional classroom courses. He has received awards for outstanding teaching.
