Archie Daniel, 84, passed away on December 20, 2013. He worked at Phelps Dodge for 32 years and retired in 1982. He retired from ASU in 1993. He and his wife, Barbara, then moved to Safford. Archie is survived by five children, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and two sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 11 a.m. at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel, 112 East Main Street, Safford, Arizona. (Source: Arizona Republic)
