Anne Kempton Parfet (Kinnerup), 83, passed away on September 17, 2015. Anne graduated from ASU with an undergraduate degree in physical education and Master's in dance. Upon graduation, she taught at ASU, later teaching at Scottsdale High School. She had a career as an exercise and fitness professional, working at Elizabeth Arden and then as a business owner opening the first spa at the Arizona Biltmore. Her legacy lives on through the Anne Kinnerup Parfet Dance Scholarship at the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. She is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, and her companion Hans Nickel. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
