Alta May Miller,91, passed away on August 22, 2011. Alta received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of Kansas in 1942. She worked as an elementary classroom teacher in Glasco, KS for many years, then moved to Lawrence, KS where she was a secretary in the Political Science Department for six years. She moved to Tempe in 1966 and worked for the City of Tempe and then at ASU as a secretary in the Educational Psychological Department until retiring. She will be greatly missed by her two children, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Alta May ispreceded in death by her husband, William E. Miller.
