Alfred Schoennauer
College of Business - 1961-1963
Dr. Alfred Schoennauer received his bachelor's degree (1950) & MBA (1959) from the University of Washington. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles (1962). He taught as an assistant business professor at Arizona State University, Tempe, 1961-1963; and as a business professor at Portland (Oregon) State University, 1963-1975 and at Mankato (Minnesota) State University, from 1975 until his retirement. He was a lecturer at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, from 1972-1974. He served in the army (1943 – 1946) during WWII in the European Theater, including Eisenhower's headquarters. He is survived by his wife, Nelda; one son; three daughters; ten grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister and by his brother. A memorial service was held on September 19, 2022. |
