Alan Matheson came to ASU in 1967 as Professor of Law.  During his career in addition to Professor of Law he was Assistant Dean, Associate Dean and Dean. He was named interim dean four time and was the "real dean" for five years.  He also served a term as Faculty Senate President and  was  the 16th President of the ASU Retirees Association.  His interview, conducted by Pam Stevenson, was recorded in October, 2003.
