ASURA offers seminars for those who are planning to retire from ASU. These are typically held at noon on the ASU campus, and are also offered online using Zoom meeting technology. When given permission, we upload the Zoom version of the seminars to YouTube so that you can watch them whenever and wherever you want. We typically add a link to each seminar's video a few days after it is held.

05/05/2020 - ASRS Road Map to Retirement. Describes the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) retirement program and how it works for ASU retirees. David Kinsella of the ASRS is the presenter.

04/14/2020 - Top 10 Financial Frauds and How to Avoid Them. Includes current information about pandemic-related frauds. Dr. Emily Schwartz of MidFirst Bank is the presenter.

03/10/2020 - Social Security & ... . There is no video for this seminar. However, you can download a handout from the session - SSA April Update. Contents of this are: Financial Literacy Month, a Perfect Time to Plan for your Future; Beware of Calls Claiming There's a Problem with your Social Security Number or Account; and three other topics.

02/04/2020 - Resiliency in Retirement.  Includes sections on dealing with stress in retirement and maintaining personal and social stability despite change. You can download slides used in this presentation and a list of Eldercare Resources that was made available with the presentation.
